Adbac 80 C12-14 is an 80 percent active alkyl dimethyl benzyl ammonium chloride.  Also known as benzalkonium chloride, Adbac is a cationic amine compound belonging to the quaternary ammonium group.

Adbac is primarily used as a corrosion inhibitor for water systems, oil well drilling, completion, and production.  It is also extremely effective against sulfide corrosion.

Adbac is often blended with other products to formulate finished corrosion inhibitors.

The carbon chain is C12 68% and C14 32%.
